Home sales in Prattville have fallen 35% from last January's numbers (2008).

Prattville had 37 home sales in Janurary 2008, with an average price of $151,760 and average per square foot price $86,51. These homes averaged 100 days on the market.

January of 2009 saw only 24 homes sold, with the average price of $145.125 and an average square foot price of $84.82. The average home was on market 123 days. Prattville's new home market suffered the most with a 50% drop in sells.

Prattville's new home average sell price and price per square foot went up slightly. The new home average price in 2008 was $188,750, with a square foot price $108.48 and 112 days on the market

Prattville new home prices increased by 3.5% and the per square foot price for new homes increased by 1.5%. Whether paying for footage or overall price, your homes cost more today than they did this time last year. However, new building sales are dramatically down. To the consumer, little has changed.
